Spun off from a series of books titled "The Happy Ape," the collection named "Just for Fun" was a quick project made purely for fun, and it successfully minted out in under three minutes, in November 2024, soon after the launch of ApeChain. The collection takes inspiration from both my own childhood and the book's author's, drawing on iconic eighties and nineties pop culture and fashion. The goal was to create a bunch of kid-friendly characters that anyone who grew up in those days could relate to, just as much as kids do nowadays.
