The Client was after a quick logo animation to use on top of video in the intro of his clip. Being a promotional video for a cycling club I tried to capture the speed which is what they live for. I also tried to hint to the condor which is portrayed in the Colombian national flag by animating the wings flapping to reveal the blue.
It took me roughly a day to do fx animation and After Effects compositing of it all.
Jonathan Calderon, the founder of Cafeteros De Colombia seems to be pretty happy with the result.
