The client was after a quick logo animation to sit over video in the intro of his clip. It was a promotional video for a cycling club, so I focused on capturing the speed, since that's what they live for. I also tried to hint at the condor from the Colombian national flag by animating the wings flapping open to reveal the blue.
It took me roughly a day to do the FX animation and After Effects compositing.
Jonathan Calderon, the founder of Cafeteros De Colombia, seems pretty happy with the result.
